Managing Director Funkwerk IP-Appliances GmbH

Torsten Urban has been COO at Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH since October 2004. His responsibilities include Product Development & Marketing in particular and also Customer Service & Support and IT. Prior to this, Urban was the managing director and head of Research & Development and Operations at bintec Access Networks GmbH from September 2003.

Torsten Urban held an executive position at bintec from January 2000. First, he was the director of Marketing and played an integral part here in corporate communications and devising product strategy. From September 2003, he was also a member of the bintec Access Networks GmbH management board.

Meanwhile, Torsten Urban has acquired a sound basis of experience in the IT branch over the past more than eleven years. He was previously employed in product and quality management at such well-known manufacturers as Philips, AT&T and Lucent.
